Job Introduction:

G4S Events is Europe's leading independent provider of event security and crowd management services across music events,  conferences, exhibitions, sporting events and venues. We are pleased to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our Asset Protection Team working at the A J Bell Stadium, in Eccles, Manchester.

The Asset Protection Officer will be responsible for supporting the existing Events Security Team to provide protection of the staduim.  

There are two positions available, both of which are based on a permanent contract of 40 hours per week, on a shift pattern rotation,  covering days, nights and weekends.  There will also be an opportunity to work additional hours.

The rate of pay is £8.15 per hour.

Free onsite parking and a full uniform will be provided.

Role Responsibility:

You will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the stadium , property within the footprint and also any personnel who may be on site.  You will carry out duties in a professional manner and work in a safe and compliant way.

Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Guarding
  • Securing Premises
  • Monitoring of the CCTV system
  • Incident Report logging
  • Interacting with our Customer and Safety Officer, as well as any visitors to the site
  • Report writing
  • Lone working
  • Managing visitor/contractor logs
  • Following protocol when dealing with alarms/incidents which require escalating to the next level

The Ideal Candidate:

Essential: You must;

  • Be aged 18 years or above.
  • Hold a valid SIA Security Licence - (Door Supervisor level would be preferred but upskilling can be arranged)
  • Have the ability to work in a  professional demeanour, demonstrating sound judgement and integrity.
  • Be confident in interacting with our Customer, Safety officer and Management Team.
  • Have a positive 'can do' attitude.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working within a similar role would be an advantage, however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Experience in delivering a personal and professional customer experience would be advantageous.
  • A valid SIA CCTV licence would be advantageous, but again, full training will be provided.
