Job Introduction:

Are you an outgoing 'people person' who enjoys the buzz of live sports?

If you answered yes to the above, G4S Events are offering fantastic opportunities to join our ever expanding team to work at Manchester City Football and its 5 star training facilities in Manchester and also other events in and around the city and across the North West.

We ideally require applicants to have previous experience in a Hospitality/Customer Care environment but full training will be given.

Please note that you do NOT need an SIA License to apply for this vacancy but if you do hold a current SIA licence we will pay £9.50 for licensed matchday stewards.

Role Responsibility:

As part of our commitment to ensure a first class experience for all customers and visitors, you will help provide an exemplary match day experience.

  • Providing a 5 star customer service experience.
  • Welcoming all visitors to the club/training academy whether loyal supporters or first time attendee’s.
  • Checking tickets and directing visitors and spectators to their required area, whilst answering any questions they may have.
  • Ensuring the hospitality experience is of the highest standard.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in delivering a personal and professional customer experience in retail or hospitality environment as well as ‘an above and beyond’ attitude.
  • Flexibility – have to be able to work all or at least a high percentage of match days, regardless of kick off time or day of the week.
  • Approachable and able to demonstrate a friendly yet professional attitude through excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in interacting with high level visitors and management.
  • Experience of the following would be beneficial to your application: matchday hospitality, customer service or general stewarding.
