Job Introduction:

G4S Events are recruiting two part time Security Officers to work on The Porche Contract, which is based at the Silverstone Circuit. We are seeking to employ candidates of the highest standards in terms of appearance and behaviour both personally and professionally.

Working hours are:

position one:  Saturday's & Sunday 07:00 - 19:00 hours

position two: Saturday's & Sunday's 19:00 - 07:00 hours

The rate of pay is £8.05 per hour.

Role Responsibility:

As a Security Officer you will be helping in all manner of ways.  Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Completion of a daily logs
  • Incident Report writing
  • Answering of telephones
  • Message taking
  • Internal and external site patrols and inspections
  • Dealing with contractors, client staff and client visitors
  • Meet and greet/reception duties
  • Liaison with Silverstone Security and onsite Customer Manager
  • Admin tasks
  • Other duties as deemed appropriate by line manager

The Ideal Candidate:

Security Officer Specifications:

  • Flexibility is essential
  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must  be able to work weekday nights and weekend days and nights
  • You must hold a valid DS SIA License
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience within the Security Industry and an aptitude for working with the public would be an advantage
  • A friendly, approachable and professional manner
  • basic computer literacy
